lyrics

Come on, Dai Young,
I know you've fallen from the highest of rungs,
But all your stories and the songs that you've sung,
They're what I lived for so come on Dai Young.

Dai Young you led your own country band,
Took to the stage to Lee Hazelwood's "Sand".
Every night the crowd would be eating from your hand.
I used to love that band.

Dai Young, in the afternoon,
I heard you whistle a White Buffalo tune.
I looked your way but you stared right through,
So what else is new?

Dai Young in chains.
Captive to poison that runs in your veins.
Too strong to be stopped, and too weak to change.
But you'll need to change.

Come on, come on
Come on Dai Young.
